ThePlaceToBe are excited to be working with a PR and Comms agency that have really carved out a niche in their industry sector. Their portfolio boasts clients of national businesses in complex technical sectors including tier 1 building contractors.


We are looking for somebody who has a specific interest and/or knowledge and experience working in a similar field.


About the role...

You will be working in a close knit team based in Sheffield. This is a role that is fast paced so requiring somebody with agility to shapeshift where needed - with the overall purpose of the role being to take ownership of a number of client accounts.


What you’ll be doing day to day...

  • Being the point of contact for clients on a daily basis

  • Drafting and writing press releases across regional, national and trade media

  • Being actively involved in new business pitches

  • Helping lead and shape more junior members of the team

  • Acting in a consultative fashion with clients and spearheading campaign planning around complex or crisis comms related campaigns



About you...

You will have a strong preference and experience working in B2B PR. You will have worked in agencies in a similar space and hold at least 4 years experience at Account Manager and/or Senior Account Manager.


What we're looking for...

  • 4 years in an AM or SAM role

  • Strong writing skills

  • Demonstrable experience of working on clients of a similar nature

  • Experience leading a team and being the main POC for clients on a daily basis

  • A passion and deep understanding of working in B2B environments across property, placemaking, commercial build, mechanical, engineering and financial services to name a few
