About the role...
Due to recent expansion and future plans to really carve out a big Paid Social media presence, we are looking for somebody who can own the entire paid social offering. Your team will compromise of executives, juniors, managers and analysts. You will also be given the opportunity in time to be actively involved in the recruitment process to build a strong paid social team. You will still be involved in end-to-end paid social strategy from taking the brief from the Senior Leadership team, to creating a plan of action, assigning tasks to your team, ideation, sign offs and analysis of figures to present back to the client and internal directors. You can expect to work very closely with the Head of Media Buying and Head of Organic Social to ensure you are collaborating seamlessly. The aim is to grow and develop the existing portfolio that the agency has (which is very sizeable!) but to take the lead on developing new ideas, business and opportunities.
About you...
My client is looking to speak with experienced paid social individuals who can be a Senior Social Media Manager, looking to take the next step or a seasoned Head of - looking for a new challenge. You will have at least 6 or 7 years experience in social media and at least 2 of those most recent years will have been with a paid social focus. You will have demonstrable experience working across a range of different internal teams to be part of the bigger picture when it comes to meeting deadlines and hitting targets. Examples of this will be working closely with the wider social media team, collaborating with leads in the organic team and also ensuring that the work of the social team has a positive correlation with the work done in the PR team.
Of course, all of this will be done with the brands mission, vision and focus at the forefront but you will also be expected to be a big, creative thinker who is super organised within strategy planning. We want somebody who is a visionary and can steer the direction of the juniors in the team seamlessly.
