Head of Media Buying

About the role...

This Head of Media Buying role is a newly created role and they're looking for someone to lead the development and growth of the media buying offering within the business. You will work collaboratively with the wider team across strategy and media teams to align buying strategies with overarching business goals. A big part of this role is to negotiate deals with media owners (both online and offline) to secure optimal terms to get the best out of clients budgets to maximise ROI as well as developing these skills across the business. Client wise, you'll be involved in pitches, presenting media buying strategies demonstrating how they align with client objectives as well as crafting innovative proposals with the team.


About you...


To be considered for this Head of Media Buying role, we're looking for someone with experience as a Media Buyer with a focus on ATL channels, with a focus on offline channels such as TV, Out-of-Home, and radio as well as having a deep understanding of digital media buying, including online display, social media, and programmatic advertising. You'll have strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable deals with media owners and the ability to manage budgets to optimise campaigns. You'll be a team player who can collaborate with cross functional teams including strategy and media. This role doesn't currently have line management responsibilities however the agency is looking to expand this offering so likely to grow a team around you for you to then lead and manage.
